Junior Controller (f/m/d)

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Junior Controller (f/m/d) to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team on a fixed-term contract of one year, with immediate effect.
The role focuses on the following key responsibilities:
  • Supporting the coordination and implementation of the medium-term planning process, including detailed planning and budgeting for the following financial year
  • Preparing monthly reporting for various stakeholders, including ongoing actual-versus-budget variance analysis and commentary
  • Analyzing company and sales performance using relevant KPIs and continuously enhancing related reports and performance metrics
  • Supporting and executing the monthly forecasting process
  • Assisting with monthly capital and liquidity planning
  • Preparing reporting materials and presentations for monthly shareholder meetings, Supervisory Board meetings, and other governance bodies
  • Supporting the further development of controlling models, methodologies, and systems
  • Contributing to the preparation of the Management Report (Lagebericht) as part of the Annual Report

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 1 to 2 years of professional experience in Controlling within a bank or financial services institution
  • Solid foundational knowledge of accounting principles, including HGB and IFRS
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English language skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • High level of resilience, motivation, and reliability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experienced in the use of information and analytical tools
  • Ability to work successfully in a multicultural and dynamic business environment
